well ..where we draw the line would be up to you commish....i personally would like to know that whether i could expect to have won or lost when the stats come out instead of when the officails watch film on thur of fri when i am thinking of whom i should start on sun, not expecting to have won or lost last weeks game on thir or fri..dont mean to bitch or complain I PROMISE..this just seems like deja vu to me for some reason

Yeah, it is a shitty decision to make.

I wish I would never hear about these changes in stats. A lot of these numbers are very subjective anyway.
(Who's to say that if Clinton Portis ran a play around 6 and 1/2 yards whether he should get 6 or 7 yards. If he runs 20 plays a game, his stats could change considerably.)

It's too late for this. I'll argue about this in the morning.

it's just my 2 cents, but this error by the officials seems to screw everyone who is involved......no matter what the decision is. in my opinion i think we should go by whatever stats are posted to whatever site jeff gets them from on tuesday afternoon or tuesday night.....

it's not fair for either team, and for us to have some consistentcy we should decide a day early in the week to have stats finalized.

there's only so much jeff can do, but as in regular football the refs make bad calls. i think that if the nfl doesn't change it by tuesday night then it should not affect our league.

they should end in a tie......but as i said this is just my 2 cents!

I've looked at the rules for other leagues and most of them have a deadline for stats updates.
I guess I had an unofficial deadline of the start of next week's games.

It's not the on-field officials that mess up, it's the stat people in the press box -- usually employed by the home team. The Stat corrections are always a review of the play to see if it was scored correctly. Like the Bledsoe-Henry fumble thing. I read that the handoff was messed up from the start of the play and that Bledsoe never had control of the ball. Yet, at the time the statistician gave a fumble to Henry. The correction later in the week assigned the fumble to the correct person. The same goes for a tackle for a loss versus a sack.

Should we refuse this review process? If you go to NFL.com and look at Peter Boulware's 2003 stats, it says he has zero sacks. Is it right for us to give him credit for a sack when all he did was tackle Randel El on a reverse?

well if the official stats say boulware didnt have a sack, didnt he have a extra tackle then? Or did I already get credit for that? Also, you said the official stats show simeon rice now having 2 sacks, but yet im not getting that...i dont understand? confused here...sorry not trying to whine ...
i really think the only way to be fair here is to leave it a tie, and im not saying that just because i supposedly, lost. if it was reversed and David lost because of the stat problem or whatever, then I would still think the same. Its just crazy to think that your teams won, lost, tied, but then agian maybe not. really now none of us can be sure now if the stats are right because of some stupid chumps in the press box dont know what there doing. I definitley think something needs to be done about some kind of deadline for the official stats for our league, and we shouldnt wait on making a decision, whos to say this wont happen next week to someone else?
