ESPN reports the New Orleans Saints have signed LB Danny Clark and P Steve Weatherford. To make room, the Saints released S Jay Bellamy and placed P Mitch Berger (pelvis) on injured reserve, ending his 2006 season. The Saints also signed OT Ben Archibald to their practice squad.

Oh well.

that is true. Would have to get special permission to put him on the IR so as not to take up my roster,.

How about a special roster spot for Mr. Bellamy? It doesn't benefit anyone; come on. Have a heart. Keep a tradition alive.
