Wow! I was coming on here to congratulate you in your win, but I see you have already made a classy...wait wrong C word..childish victory speech. We were having playful banter or as most would call it, "smack talk" but that was pathetic!! Anyway, congrats to all the winners and good luck to you in the championship game Will.

I still have the opportunity to get my first MTFFL trophy in the second league, so not all is lost!!

I am going to try to win. Eazy has a better team than me though. I will need Tom and Arian and company to have an off-day.

You really thought that the "victory speech" was childish..?? I thought it was similar to any other remarks in this forum. That's just me.

Hey this is my 1st championship in 12 or so years so I am psyched! I want a mug! Jonathan has been my El Guapo and I finally beat him in a meaningful game. (other than that he owns my ass).

You guys have a great Christmas.

Good luck to all....I see a fourth place finish for myself; so, hopefully $50 will be a little consolation for you John, but hopefully you will take down Anferney in the II league and hoist the mug next year.
You better get on your knees and pray...Sheffield and Gainesboro are on the way.

Yes I was looking through the game matchup write-ups:

Nashville Salamanders were led in week 7 by a 26.4 point effort from Matt Ryan, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 299 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With Ryan on bye in week 8, they'll need to count on their second-string QB to carry the team this week. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Nashville Salamanders can expect a 21.5 point effort from Reggie Wayne in week 8, who is expected to beat the Houston Texans defense for 125 receiving yards and 1 receiving TDs.

"Since Coach Fowler has stopped visiting the elementary school every afternoon (I am not sure why) I would expect his team to be prepared ," Nashville Salamanders coach Will Gordy said.

Oompa Loompas were led in week 7 by a 19.0 point effort from Derrick Johnson, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars offense for 3 tackles and 1 interception. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Oompa Loompas can expect a 21.5 point effort from Andre Johnson in week 8, who is expected to beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 125 receiving yards and 1 receiving TDs.

"We match up well," Oompa Loompas coach Anthony Fowler said.

This is the first game between these two franchises in 2010, and is sure to be a classic showdown. In the 13-year history of this rivalry, Nashville Salamanders hold a 6-8-0 all-time series record against Oompa Loompas.

I thought that was an odd thing for coach Gordy to say. ;)
