2009 Playoff Scenarios

With 2 games left, here's how divisions shape up...
Paydirt Division
After dropping 3 straight, the Zippers (8-4 overall, 3-1 division) finally get a W and the Yankees (7-5, 2-2) suffered a loss. Yankees won the Week 11 matchup. Their game in Week 14 will probably decide the division. The Yankees haven't been to the playoffs since winning the division in 2002, but both the Zippers and Yankees have the wild card as Plan B.
Rocky Tops (5-7) and Salamanders (4-8) are out.
Red Zone Division
The defending champs, Beatniks, own the best record (9-3, 2-2) and the most points in the league by about 100 points. The Oompa Loompas (7-5, 3-1) still have a shot and they play the Beatniks in Week 14. The Oompa Loompas won the head-to-head game in Week 11.
Rockers (5-7) and Rednecks (4-8) are out.
Gridiron Division
The Punishers (7-5, 2-2) lead the division with the Knuckledraggers (6-6, 1-3) just one game back. The Punishers and Knuckledraggers play each other in Week 13. The Punishers won the Week 2 meeting. Neither team has ever won the division or ever made the playoffs. This will likely end the 11 year division domination by the Feagle Eagles (5-7) & Cherry Bombs/Critters (5-7).
