I tried that crap before and you slapped my hands but I see it being used wrongly by my overzealous colleagues. Whats the deal?? I could even understand if they have been put on IR this early but some are just hurt and quite plainly the system is being abused (Jon Beason). Reach inside your inner Goodell and slap them down!! Suspend the player for a couple of weeks lets see some crap hit the fan!!!!! Come on!!
We all know the Little Loompas threw a fit over Beason on Draft Day. MyFantasyLeague.com is assigning players as OUT even before the League (http://ww.nfl.com/injuries) starts assigning injury reports. I can't stop a player from being on IR if MFL lists them as OUT or IR -- unless I change the rules between Draft Day and Day 1.
I don't see it as a strategic advantage. (Did I Smack you down in a previous year? I don't remember that) We are still 3 weeks away from real games. There is almost nothing I can do to stop overzealous use of the IR as long as MFL is listing players as OUT. If he is sort-of healthy on Day 1, he'll have to be taken off IR before a valid lineup is submitted.
