Michael Vick has reportedly been indicted by a federal grand jury for his role in a dog-fighting operation on his property in Virginia.
On the same day Daunte Culpepper is released. Vick is accused of conspiring to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and sponsoring a dog in animal fighting. Its hard to gauge the NFL's immediate reaction here, but commissioner Roger Goodell can certainly suspend Vick if he chooses before the criminal system has run its course. We suspect he'll let the Falcons know where Vick stands sooner than later.

"The indictment said that in April 2007, Peace, Phillips and Vick "executed approximately eight dogs that did not perform well in 'testing' sessions by various methods, including hanging, drowning and/or slamming at least one dog's body to the ground." Vick also is alleged to have consulted with Peace before Peace killed a losing dog by electrocution in 2003."
they have a source that said Vick was directly involved with hanging, electrocuting, drowning and one person slammed the dog on the ground!
I heard that PETA is going to start a boycott against HOME DEPOT (which the owner of the falcons also owns) if harsh punishment is not handed down against him.

oooo! The wrath of PETA! I'll go on the record against animal cruelty - including dog fighting. But I'll eat a big honkin' cheeseburger, wear leather, own pets and bet on horses. PETA is a bunch of wackos. Their protest will have negligible effect - as usual.

(1,600,000/6,000,000,000)*100=.027% of the World's population.
(7,000,000/6,000,000,000)*100=.117% of the World's population.
So this boycott will have .144% of the World's population behind it. That's like pissing off the hockey community.

As a percentage of the world population? Anyway, wasn't NHL attendance over 20 million last year?
Shouldn't PETA protest against the NFL including every team and ownership group and fan until something is done? What do the employees of Home Depot have to do with Vick? Another PETA protest that will get nothing solved.

The Associated Press has confirmed that the NFL has decided to let Michael Vick play football for the "foreseeable future" as the legal process determines the facts.
