DE Rice Passes on Giants
Mike Garofolo, Newark Star-Ledger - [Full Article]
DE Simeon Rice has left New York without a contract from the Giants. The Giants reportedly showed an interest, but not enough for Rice to forgo other possibilities. When asked about Rice this morning, Giants GM Jerry Reese said there was "nothing to report" and that it was "a business trip for everybody." HC Tom Coughlin said, "It was a good opportunity to sit and visit with a guy. I've known Simeon for a long time. He was a high-school player in Chicago we recruited (while at Boston College)."
