we are pursuing LB Nick Griesen for our MLB...
he filled in admirably for Antoinio Pierce when he was out...
his stats from last season:
16 games 85 tackles 65 solo 20 ast 1 sack
after Pierce went down he recorded 28 solos and 4 assisted in the final 4 games! his is young and has good size...
Position: LB
Height: 6-1
Weight: 245
Born: 08/10/1979
College: Wisconsin
NFL Experience: 5
our defense may see a significant turnaround if they can gel early...
Vanden Squash, Starks, Haynesworth, Laboy on the DL
Bulluck, Griesen, Thornton at LB
Hill and PacMan at CB
Lamont and Hope at Safety
that could be a strong D for years to come bc they are all relatively young!!!
