David's been in the league 10 years and still doesn't know the rules.

Or we can play by MTAW (My Team Always Wins) rules.
This week interceptions cost 0 points.
or
This week sacks cost 2 points
or
This week forced fumbles should count 4 points
or
This week punt/kick off return yards should count.
or
This week let's count points per reception
Whiners say, "Why, oh Why must we play by the written rules? Why can't the rules change each week so my fake football team wins?"

When some feel that a rule is unfair, they try to make a change for it. Example being...a few of us struggle to get HFA changed every year. That's not week to week. So, I can see where you are going with the reply above, but don't lump others in by generalizing.
Also, I've never seen that quote by David...."Why, oh Why must we play by the written rules? Why can't the rules change each week so my fake football team wins?"

It's completely fair. Home teams have an advantage.

Can you have a disagreement without name calling Jeff? That's what people with no argument do. I do not like HFA because it is not performance based. ALL of the other points are performance based. HFA is arbitrarily assigned to a team each week. Do you have an intelligent retort or just more name calling?

Ok, then call say I don't "like" HFA not that it's not "fair". It's completely fair.
As football fans we acknowledge that more yards on the field gives a better chance of winning. We know that more touchdowns give a better chance of winning. We know that more mistakes give a better chance of losing. And we also know that having a home game gives a better chance of winning. Right?

When a home team takes the field, the scoreboard doesn't read... 7 - 0.

It also does not take the NFL from Sunday 12pm to Monday 11pm to play a game. Why does the timing of scoring matter?

Because the game hasn't been played; so, why should one team have a touchdown and an extra point advantage?
Now, stop twisting your argument by defending by asking questions. I've watched that movie.
