Jason Gesser, undrafted and out of Washington State. He was Co-Pac 10 player of the year (he shared this honor with Carson Palmer).

Luckily, Floyd Reese kept Neil's number on speed dial.
Steve will play this weekend, but Gesser is a 100% emergency ... only in case of death on the field ... and if Utility Player Hentrich can't start at QB.
That's right, I have more faith in our punter at QB than Jason Gesser.

I saw Gesser in mini-camp and training camp and in the scrimage, and he looked 100 times better than Neil did!!!!

he's never thrown an nfl pass though. if he gets in he's gonna be very uptight
