Draft Day

It's been a while since we talked about this. We really need to nail down a date for our drafts. I was hoping to get both drafts done on the same day if possible.
I was thinking about Labor Day weekend. September 4-6. We could do it on Saturday or Sunday. Or maybe do one Saturday evening and the other on Sunday morning. After we figure out a general date we can schedule a venue.

the regular season starts on Septemer 9th (thursday) and 12th!!!
we should do it sooner...

What's wrong with a late draft? I prefer a late draft.
We won't be able to do the MTFFL I draft on the previous weekend, August 28-29. There are two owners who told me they will be unavailable that weekend.

Scott, does that mean you are completely unavailable the entire weekend?
Anyone else have scheduling conflicts?
We only need about 4-5 hours together.

sat. plan on being on a houseboat, sun plan on attending the UT game in knoxville....friday night would be a go for me on labor day weekend.

what is a lake??? i need to do the draft or drafts on sunday if possible!!
i think we should cut down our roster (that means freeze players chosen one) when the NFL cuts to their regular season size of 53 players on August 31st!!!
just thought it might make our league even more realistic!
