The News

Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson is scheduled to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday to discuss a possible suspension, according to the Chicago Sun Times. There is speculation that he could be suspended up to eight games for his various legal infractions.

Our View

There are rumblings that the commish might let Johnson off with a four-game suspension due to the fact that was punished with a 60-day jail sentence, which he will complete on Sunday. We know it's been a while since Tank has had any female contact, but we suggest that he hold off on visiting strip clubs until after he meets with Goodell.

if he decides this way, he is saying that it is better for someone to be convicted and serve jail time than to have allegations but no arrest! THIS WILL BE COMPLETE BULLSHIT IF IT HAPPENS!

The quantity of Jones' problems is the big issue. When/If Jones' is convicted he will be suspended more games.

this must be a statement to spark and argument, because there is no way i will agree with you on this matter.

the suspension is from only 4 accounts...it's not due to everything that he has actually been involved with.

either way, i hate that pacman will be a poster boy for the new NFL policy (even though there are others doing much worse!).
