Bears :: DL
Bears DT Ta. Johnson Suspended 8 Games
Larry Mayer, ChicagoBears.com - [Full Article]
The NFL on Monday suspended Bears DT Tank Johnson without pay for the first 8 games of the regular season for violating the league's personal conduct policy. In a letter to Johnson, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said that he would be prepared to reduce the suspension to the first six regular-season games if Johnson meets certain conditions. The conditions include: No further adverse involvement with law enforcement, compliance with all league requirements, including counseling, No participation in any practices or other organized team activities during the suspension.
like i said before, there is no reason he should get less than pacman. i guess if pacman served time in jail, then he wouldn't get as harsh a suspension. this guy gets to be at the facilities the whole time also....
bullshit!

that is odd!!! why would he wait all this time and then drop it the week there is to be a ruling!?!?
last i heard was that Goodell would make a decision this week and that he may reduce the suspension a couple games.....
According to the NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, the league should make a decision regarding the appeal of Pacman Jones’ suspension later this week.
It appears that Roger Goodell is taking a close look at his pending legal troubles in Georgia before they make a decision. If that case is thrown out, or if Pacman is acquitted, his suspension could possibly be reduced by a few games.
