2.

3.
Currently each team may freeze 7 players. amendment #1 amendment #2
4.

doesn't this mean that the midgets have to drop a player before the draft and the high life has to pick one up.
in other leagues, the midget would have been forced to drop a player once the transaction went through.
has anyone ever had 8 keepers before? what do yall think?
We can have 8 keepers?

Re: We can have 8 keepers?
To be honest, whats the difference in them doing it a week before the draft or waiting until draft day and then trading before the draft starts or while the draft is in progress. They originally got down to their 7 keepers, and then made the trade. Your really just spliting hairs when it comes down to it. The trade would have still happened and Midgets would have started the draft with 8 and the High Life with 6.

Re: We can have 8 keepers?
All teams freeze 7 players. What happens after the freeze deadline and before draft day has nothing to do with the amount of keepers. A team could trade all 7 keepers if they wanted to. It's not the same as the 25-player roster limitation.
The rules are fair. The regulations are fair.

Re: We can have 8 keepers?
I agree with the Hogg on this one. Either go by the rules or trash them it is that simple. The rest of us are penelized for not making a trade so I guess in theory I could have 14 players going into the draft if I acquired someones elses players before the draft. I dont think this is what The league had in mind when franching players idea came about.
Actually in theory I suppose you can make more than 1 traade so a roster could be complete before the draft.
Matter of fact for the right offer Ill let all my guys right now for the right offer, just to prove a point.

Re: We can have 8 keepers?
That's fine with me. As long the roster does not exceed the 25-man limit and all the trades aren't one-sided.
The point of the keeper deadline is to return a bunch of players back to the draft pool. The players that we keep aren't in the draft pool and they can be traded at will.
I don't know why this is suddenly an issue. It happens every year.

What difference does it make? This is not the first time this has happened boys. I also did it 2 years ago, but I guess you didn't care then because it happened right before the draft
