OK. How about Sunday, August 22nd. That's Preseason Week 2. Some depth charts may not be finalized and hopefully no one drafts a guy that gets dropped in the first roster cut - 9 days later. Early drafts make it hard to judge how serious players are about holdouts, and let's not even think about surprise injuries (i.e. Vick).


I usually set the freeze date at about 10-14 days before the actual draft. That gives time for people to look at the dropped players and come up with a draft strategy. Keeping this schedule would force us to have the freeze date before the 1st pre-season game! But I don't have a problem with making the freeze date 3-4 days before the draft.
The rules are fair. The regulations are fair.

can do....preferably not till 1:30 -2:00..so i can get back from the course after checking on greens.

How about a deep-discount at Southern Hills, Scott? As bad as I play, I shouldn't have to pay full-price.
