THE NEWS
After losing Ricky Williams to retirement last week, the Dolphins suffered another major setback on Friday when wide receiver David Boston suffered a knee injury that will cause him to miss the entire year. "It is anticipated that the injury will require surgery that will sideline him for the season," Dolphins' head coach Dave Wannstedt said in a statement released Friday. Boston has been scheduled for surgery on a torn patella tendon, according to an ESPN.com report.

Things just keep getting worse for the Dolphins. With Boston out for the season, Derrius Thompson is expected to move into the starting lineup as Chris Chambers' wingman. It's also possible that the Dolphins will make a play for veteran wideout Tim Brown, who was released by the Raiders on Thursday. Dolphins' officials said Friday they were not interested in Brown, but that was before Boston suffered the injury.
I'm glad i'm not a dolphins fan..... they are going to be awful this year!
