Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson was carted off the field on Friday evening after injuring his left shoulder. Benson was injured on a passing play in which he was hit by linebacker Brian Urlacher and safety Mike Brown after catching a pass over the middle. X-rays are scheduled for Saturday morning. "He broke through, a freak accident, those kind of things happen," head coach Lovie Smith said. "Hopefully it isn't too serious."
